The Directorate of Financial Affairs of Istanbul Nişantaşı University is a fundamental administrative unit responsible for managing al of the university's financial resources effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable laws; planning its budget; planning, implementing, and overseeing al financial processes to ensure the university's sustainable financial structure and uninterrupted provision of services; and coordinating its financial operations.
As a foundation university, it is responsible for providing the financial infrastructure and support services necessary for both academic and administrative units to maintain their activities.
Our Mission As the Directorate of Financial Affairs of Istanbul Nişantaşı University, our fundamental mission is to manage our institution's financial resources effectively, efficiently, and transparently and to operate in accordance with higher education legislation, financial discipline, and international standards.
Our Vision To establish a strong financial structure that supports the academic and administrative objectives of our university by developing sustainable financial policies; and to provide an exemplary financial management model through transparent reporting, compliance with corporate governance principles, and financial processes aligned with international accreditation standards.
Our Core Principles
The financial management of our university is carried out in accordance with the principles of effectiveness, transparency, and accountability. Budget planning and expenditures are conducted within the framework of relevant regulations and implementation principles. The Directorate of Financial Affairs manages al processes in compliance with legislation and quality policies in order to ensure the effective collection of revenues, efficient management of expenditure processes, and strengthening of the institution's financial sustainability.
The financial revenues of our university consist of student payments, project funds, donations, sponsorships, and institutional partnerships. These revenues are regularly monitored and reported through digital financial tracking systems. Within the scope of revenue management processes, student transactions and collections are carried out digitaly, while additional resources are generated through projects and partnerships to support financial sustainability.
Budget processes are regularly monitored in accordance with the principles of transparency and accountability. Annual financial reports are prepared and submitted to the Board of Trustees for approval. The compliance of financial processes with legislation and quality indicators is audited through financial advisor reports.
Within the scope of financial sustainability, the university aims to diversify its revenue sources, reduce financial risks, and increase the efficiency of resource utilization. Accordingly, performance-based financial planning practices and digital budget management systems are utilized.
The Directorate of Financial Affairs is one of the units continuously monitored through our university's digital systems. The maturity level of financial processes is regularly enhanced through internal and external audits, risk analyses, and improvement initiatives; the resulting data are integrated into institutional decision-making processes.
This approach ensures the financial sustainability of Istanbul Nişantaşı University while enabling the university to alocate its resources efficiently toward its strategic objectives and strengthen its quality culture.
